How we put this guide together
On October 23, 2026 we went through the Stitchingcover online store: its best-seller ranking, product pages, US dollar prices, the material options, the FAQ, and the shipping, refund and terms pages. We also read the store's independent reviews on Trustpilot. Nobody on our team has installed one of these covers yet, so this is a buyer's guide, not a hands-on review, and we do not give a star rating.
What Stitchingcover sells
Stitchingcover makes custom stitch-on steering wheel covers (often called steering wheel wraps). You pick your vehicle, then choose the material for the top and bottom of the wheel (Alcantara, leather, suede, carbon or faux leather), the material for the sides, the thread color, and whether you want a marker stripe at 12 o'clock. You can upload a photo of your wheel and say whether it has paddle shifters or buttons on the back. The cover arrives with needles, thread and printed instructions, and you sew it onto your existing wheel yourself. The store also sells headrest covers, key fob covers and custom carbon steering wheels, and has a Live Preview tool to see your color choices.
The store is clear that these are not original factory parts: its product pages describe them as modified, custom-made pieces. The six products below are the store's best sellers we were asked to cover, all for American trucks and SUVs.
The 6 products
1. Steering Wheel Cover for Ford F-150 / F-250 / F-350 / F-450 / Expedition 2015-2023
Photo: Stitchingcover
The store's top seller. Price on October 23, 2026: $49.90 (compare-at $99.90). The US fitment list on the product page is narrower than the title: F-150 2015-2020, F-250, F-350 and F-450 2017-2022, and Expedition 2018-2021. It suits owners of the previous-generation F-Series whose wheel leather is worn. Drawback: if your F-150 is a 2021 or later, you need product 3 instead, so check the year list and the wheel photo before ordering.
2. Steering Wheel Cover for Dodge Ram 1500 / 3500 2012-2018
Photo: Stitchingcover
For the US Ram 1500 2012-2018, the Ram 1500 Classic 2019-2022, and the 2500, 3500 and 5500 from 2012 to 2018. Price on October 23, 2026: $49.90 (compare-at $99.90). It suits owners of older Rams, including the Classic models still sold after 2019. Drawback: the newer 2019 and later Ram 1500 uses a different wheel, so do not mix this one up with product 6.
3. Steering Wheel Cover for Ford F-150 / Super Duty / Expedition 2021-2026
Photo: Stitchingcover
Fits the F-150 2021-2026, the F-150 Lightning 2022-2024, the F-250 2024, the F-350 and F-450 2023-2024 and the Expedition 2022-2024, according to the product page. Price on October 23, 2026: $49.90 (compare-at $99.90). It suits owners of newer Fords who want a different color or material than the factory wheel. Drawback: on a newer truck the factory wheel is often still in good shape, so this is a style upgrade rather than a repair, and a wrap that cannot be returned once installed is a bigger commitment.
4. Steering Wheel Cover for Toyota 4Runner / Tacoma / Tundra / Sequoia / Land Cruiser Prado 2009-2024
Photo: Stitchingcover
For the US 4Runner 2010-2024, Tacoma 2012-2023, Tundra 2014-2021 and Sequoia 2014-2022 (other years apply to European, UK and Australian models). Price on October 23, 2026: $49.90 (compare-at $99.90). It suits Toyota truck and SUV owners who keep their vehicles for many years and want to refresh a worn wheel. Drawback: Toyota models often run long generations with mid-cycle changes, so the store's advice to compare your wheel against the photos matters here.
5. Steering Wheel Cover for Chevrolet Silverado / Blazer / Suburban / Tahoe 2019-2026
Photo: Stitchingcover
The US list covers the Silverado 1500 2019-2024, Silverado 2500 and 3500 2020-2024, Blazer 2019-2024, and Suburban and Tahoe 2021-2024. Price on October 23, 2026: $49.90 (compare-at $99.90). It suits Chevy truck and SUV owners who want a sportier look, for example Alcantara with colored stitching. Drawback: the title says up to 2026 while the detailed list stops at 2024, so owners of 2025 or 2026 models should send a wheel photo first.
6. Steering Wheel Cover for Dodge Ram 1500 / 2500 / 3500 / 4500 / 5500 2019-2026
Photo: Stitchingcover
For the newer generation of Ram trucks, 1500 through 5500, from 2019 to 2026; the product description mentions the Laramie. Price on October 23, 2026: $49.90 (compare-at $99.90). It suits owners of current Rams who want to personalize the wheel. Drawback: the description is short and names one trim, so if you have a different trim or a heated wheel, confirm the fit with the store before you pay.

| Ram 1500-5500 2019-2026 | $49.90 | $99.90 |
We read these prices from the store's US dollar product data. We did not check whether some materials cost extra or what shipping costs at checkout, so the final price in your cart may differ. The store's own Trustpilot profile says it offers free shipping worldwide, but its shipping policy page does not state a price.
What buyers say
On Trustpilot (checked October 23, 2026) Stitchingcover scores 3.7 out of 5 from 47 reviews: 51% five-star and 32% one-star, with 30 reviews in the last 12 months. The company claimed its profile in June 2024 and has replied to 75% of negative reviews. Happy buyers praise the materials, the finished look and the customer service; a Jeep Wrangler owner said the installed cover looked and felt like the factory wheel. The complaints are mostly about fit and installation: one buyer found loose edges on a Subaru cover and returned it, another needed a second, made-to-measure cover for a BMW before it fit perfectly, and a 64-year-old buyer had a friend who sews install it. One reviewer warned that the advertising videos make installation look easier than it is.
How it compares
- Slip-on covers from auto parts stores: cheap and installed in a minute, but generic in size, often thick and prone to slipping. Better if you just want a quick grip fix.
- Professional re-wrap or a new wheel: no sewing on your part and usually the best finish, at a higher price. Better if you do not want to stitch for an hour or two yourself.
- Stitchingcover: a cover cut for your specific wheel, with material and thread color choices, at $49.90 before options, but you do the sewing. Better if you like hands-on projects and want a custom look.
Shipping & returns
Every cover is made to order. The store says production takes about 3 business days, and that style changes are not accepted more than 24 hours after purchase. Standard shipping takes 10 to 14 business days and express shipping 5 to 7 business days; the FAQ gives 11 to 15 days in total. Some models are stocked in a US warehouse with 3 to 5 day delivery. For a Christmas gift with standard shipping, plan to order by about December 1.
Returns are strict. The store does not accept returns or exchanges for a change of mind. A return within 30 days is only possible if the cover is unused, in its original package, not installed and with no adhesive tape applied, and you pay the international return shipping. If the cover does not fit, you send photos and the store offers a free replacement or a refund. Damaged items or covers that do not match your customization are replaced after inspection. Approved refunds go back to the original payment method within 5 business days. The FAQ also mentions a 2-year quality warranty for natural wear.
Who it suits / who should skip
Good fit: truck and SUV owners with a worn but intact factory wheel; people who enjoy a weekend project; buyers who want a specific material and stitching color to match their interior.
Skip it if: you do not want to hand-sew a cover, you need it within a week and your model is not in the US warehouse, your wheel has an unusual trim the store cannot confirm, or you want the option to return it if you change your mind.
