How we put this guide together

On October 18, 2026 we read SnoreStop's own store (snorestop.com): the four human products, the pet range, the brand's comparison page, and its refund policy and terms. We then looked for independent evidence on the three things SnoreStop compares itself with: nasal strips, mouth tape and mouthguards. Nobody on our team has used SnoreStop, so this is a buyer's guide, not a hands-on review, and it carries no star rating from us. Snoring that comes with gasping, choking or daytime sleepiness can be a sign of sleep apnea, which needs a doctor, not a store-bought fix.

What SnoreStop sells

SnoreStop has been sold since 1995 by Green Pharmaceuticals, Inc. of California. It is an oral spray and a range of chewable tablets taken at bedtime. The brand describes the formula as homeopathic and says it is for ordinary, non-apneic snoring only. Its terms of service state that the statements on the site have not been evaluated by the FDA and that the products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease. The brand's main pitch is that it is not a device: nothing to wear, stick on or fit.

The 6 products

1. SnoreStop Anti-Snoring Oral Spray

SnoreStop Anti-Snoring Oral SprayPhoto: SnoreStop

A few sprays into the mouth at bedtime. The brand says it works on swollen tissue and mucus in the mouth and throat. Price on October 18, 2026: $59.99, with 15% off on a subscription. In stock. It suits people who would rather spray than chew. Drawback: it is the most expensive single item in the range, and the evidence behind it is thin (see below).

2. SnoreStop Anti-Snoring Chewable Tablets

SnoreStop Chewable TabletsPhoto: SnoreStop

Two chewable tablets at bedtime, no water needed. Same idea as the spray in tablet form, and easy to pack for travel. Price: $49.99, or 15% off on a subscription. In stock. Drawback: tablets are chewed or sucked, so anyone who dislikes the taste or texture of chewables may stop using them.

3. SnoreStop Breathe Easy Formula

SnoreStop Breathe Easy FormulaPhoto: SnoreStop

A chewable tablet aimed at snoring linked to congestion or breathing trouble. The brand says it has twice the active ingredients of its Maximum Strength formula plus four natural decongestants, and suggests a 5 to 7 day course. Price: $24.99. In stock. Drawback: if your nose is blocked for long stretches, see a doctor about the cause first.

4. SnoreStop Multi Allergy Formula

SnoreStop Multi Allergy FormulaPhoto: SnoreStop

A chewable tablet aimed at snoring that comes with hay fever, sneezing or a runny nose. The brand lists 15 natural antihistamines and the same 5 to 7 day course. Price: $24.99. In stock. Drawback: it is not a substitute for allergy treatment you already use; check with a pharmacist if you take other allergy products.

5. SnoreStop for Pets

SnoreStop for PetsPhoto: SnoreStop

A spray and a tablet for snoring dogs and cats, sold in a one-box sample pack from $14.99 or a three-box bundle. In stock. It suits pet owners who share a bedroom with a loud sleeper. Drawback: sudden snoring in a pet can point to a health problem, so a vet check comes first.

6. The brand's comparison page

SnoreStop compared with strips, tape and mouthguardsPhoto: SnoreStop

SnoreStop publishes a page comparing itself with nasal strips, mouth tape and mouthguards. It is useful for seeing the brand's argument in one place, but it is the brand's own marketing, so we checked the other side below.

SnoreStop vs strips, tape and mouthguards

OptionHow it worksWhat the evidence saysMain drawback
SnoreStop spray or tabletsTaken at bedtime, nothing to wearOne placebo-controlled study from 1999 (Lipman and colleagues, Sleep and Breathing); Choice in Australia reported in 2015 that experts found the study weakThin, old evidence; homeopathic formula
Nasal stripsPull the nostrils open from outsideThe Sleep Foundation says research is limited and results are mixed; they may help mild snoring from a cold or allergiesOnly helps nose-related snoring; adhesive can loosen
Mouth tapeKeeps the mouth closed to push nose breathingA 2025 systematic review in PLOS One found weak evidence and warned of risk for people with a blocked noseCan be unsafe with nasal obstruction
Mouthguards (oral appliances)Move the lower jaw forwardDentist-fitted appliances are a recognised option for some people with sleep apnea; over-the-counter versions varyJaw or tooth soreness; fit matters

The honest summary: none of the four is a guaranteed fix, and none replaces a sleep study if apnea is possible. SnoreStop's real advantage is convenience. Its weakness is that the evidence is a single study that is now more than 25 years old.

Returns

SnoreStop advertises a 100% money-back guarantee. For orders placed on the website or by phone you must first contact the company for a Return Authorization Number (RAN); returns without one are not accepted. Store purchases have 30 days with the original packaging and receipt. Contact: 1-877-766-7378, Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm Pacific, or mail@snorestop.com.

Who it suits / who should skip

It suits adults with ordinary snoring who have given up on strips, tape or mouthguards and want something they will actually use every night, and partners buying for a snorer. Skip it if you want strong clinical proof before you buy, if you are skeptical of homeopathic products, or if snoring comes with pauses in breathing, gasping or heavy daytime tiredness. In that case talk to a doctor about a sleep study.
