How we put this guide together
We haven't bought a Move Speed product or gone through with an order yet, so this isn't a hands-on review. Everything below comes from Move Speed's own site (its product listings, Shipping Policy and Return & Refund Policy pages) as we read them on September 16, 2026, plus Trustpilot's public review data. We opened Move Speed's checkout page and confirmed the move10 code field is there, but stopped short of placing an order, so we can't yet confirm the $10 discount applies the way the site says it does. We'll update this once that's been tested.
What Move Speed sells
Move Speed is a direct-to-consumer brand selling portable charging and storage gear: power banks (from around 5,000mAh up to a 70,000mAh "Pro Max" model), portable SSDs and SSD-based flash drives rated up to 2,100MB/s, USB-C charging cables and GaN wall chargers, an SSD enclosure/hub for Mac Mini, and micro SD cards. Everything ships from Move Speed itself, not third-party marketplace sellers.
What it costs
Prices run from about $19.98 for a basic USB-C charging cable up to $442.99 for its largest touch-screen portable SSD (regular prices, checked Sep 16, 2026 — most listings also carry an ongoing sale price below that). A mid-size power bank (M25 Pro, 25,000mAh) lists at $89.99, and a 1TB touch-screen portable SSD (GD10) starts at $139.99. Move Speed also runs a standing "buy 2 items, get 20% off" multi-buy deal on top of whatever sale price an item already carries.
What buyers say
Move Speed sits at 2.3 out of 5 on Trustpilot across 119 reviews (checked Sep 16, 2026) — 48% are 1-star and only 38% are 5-star, a rough score for a consumer electronics brand. The complaints cluster hard around one thing: customer service that doesn't respond, by live chat or email, once something goes wrong. Several reviewers describe emailing repeatedly with no reply, and one reviewer backing Move Speed's Kickstarter campaign (a separate dual-screen charging-cable project running on Move Speed's homepage — not a normal store order) said their tracking was frozen for more than 90 days with no response on any channel. One reviewer also said a power bank listed at 70,000mAh had 42,000mAh printed on the unit itself, which is worth asking Move Speed about directly if exact capacity matters for what you're buying. The positive reviews mainly praise charging speed and delivery time when nothing goes wrong. We couldn't find a Better Business Bureau profile for Move Speed either way.
How it compares
| Move Speed | Anker | Samsung T9 / SanDisk Extreme | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Category | Power banks, portable SSDs, cables | Power banks, chargers | Portable SSDs |
| Price position | Budget to mid-range | Mid-range to premium | Mid-range to premium |
| Independent reviews | 2.3/5 on Trustpilot (119 reviews) | Long, generally strong track record | Long, generally strong track record |
| Warranty | 1 year (power banks), 5 years (storage) | Typically 18 months to 5 years, depending on product | Typically 3 years |
On paper, Move Speed's specs and warranty length look competitive next to Anker or Samsung/SanDisk. The gap shows up in what happens if a unit fails or an order goes wrong, based on the reviews above.
Shipping and returns
Move Speed's own pages don't agree with each other on shipping cost: the homepage banner advertises free worldwide shipping over $99, but the separate Shipping Policy page states standard shipping is $9.98 and free shipping starts at $199. We're flagging the mismatch rather than picking one for you — check your cart total at checkout. Processing is stated as within 24 hours before an order reaches the fulfillment center; delivery is quoted at 7–15 days internationally on the Shipping Policy page, or "3–15 days" on the homepage banner.
Returns run 30 days for general items under the Return & Refund Policy, with a catch worth knowing before you buy: issues have to be reported within 72 hours of receiving the item, returns based on personal preference aren't accepted, and you can't just ship something back on your own — you have to contact Move Speed first, or the return won't be processed. Refunds are issued within 7 business days after inspection, and Move Speed says it responds to return requests within 3–5 working days.
Who it suits
Worth considering if you want a budget-to-mid-range power bank, portable SSD or charging cable and you're comfortable troubleshooting on your own if something's wrong with the unit — Move Speed's specs and warranty terms are competitive on paper. Skip it if you're backing the Kickstarter campaign expecting store-level support, if you need guaranteed responsive customer service, or if getting the exact advertised capacity or spec matters enough that you'd want it double-checked before you rely on it.
Using the code
Move Speed's own site lists move10 as a public code for $10 off a new customer's first order (Move Speed's own promotional copy, checked Sep 16, 2026). We reached Move Speed's checkout page and confirmed the code field is there, but stopped short of completing a purchase, so we haven't verified the $10 actually applies. Enter it at checkout and confirm the discount shows before you pay — codes can change or end at any time.
