How we put this guide together
We read the Macro Stackers store pages (home page, both product pages, shipping policy, refund policy and terms of service) on 2026-10-21, checked the live product feed for prices and stock, and ran a cart test on the same day. We also searched for independent reviews and compared the containers with other compostable and reusable options. We have not used the containers ourselves, so this is a buyer's guide, not a hands-on review.
What Macro Stackers sells
Macro Stackers is the store behind the containers many people still search for as Stealth Health Containers; the old stealthhealthcontainers.com address now forwards to macrostackers.com. The company is Macro Containers LLC, doing business as Macro Stackers, and the product was created by recipe developer Tom Walsh (@stealth_health_life), who says he makes 50+ meals a day and could not find a take-out style container he was happy to recommend. The store sells two products: a 24 oz bamboo-fiber meal prep container with a plant-based lid and lining, and compostable label sheets for writing the recipe and macros on each meal.
The 6 products
1. MacroStacker 24 oz Meal Prep Containers

A 24 oz container made from bamboo fiber, with a plant-based lid and lining and no plastic liner. The store says it is freezer safe and safe for household microwave reheating, and commercially compostable. Prices on 2026-10-21: 30 Pack $39.99 one-time or $33.99 with Subscribe & Save (15% off, delivered every 30, 60 or 90 days); 60 Pack $67.99 or $57.79 with a subscription. Both packs were in stock. It suits people who cook in batches and keep a freezer stash of portioned meals. Drawback: single use is recommended, so this is a running cost, not a one-time purchase.
2. Compostable Label Sheets

Write-on labels with space for the recipe name, calories, protein, carbs and fat. Each label is 1.25 x 4 inches, there are 10 labels per sheet, and they are sold in 30-label increments for $5.00 (2026-10-21, in stock). The store says they are freezer safe and certified to meet ASTM standards for commercial composting. They suit anyone who tracks macros or labels a lot of frozen meals. Drawback: they are not designed for re-use.
3. Plant-based construction
Photo: Macro Stackers
The home page is where the store explains why the container exists: Tom Walsh found most take-out containers hard to source, often not microwave safe, lined with plastic and closed with flimsy lids. The Macro Stacker answer is a bamboo-fiber box with a plant-based lid and lining. Drawback: commercially compostable means an industrial composting facility; the store does not claim it breaks down in a backyard compost bin.
4. Freezer and microwave use

The terms of service set clear limits: household microwave reheating only, not for ovens, toaster ovens, air fryers, stovetops, broilers or grills, not dishwasher safe, and no long soaking. If you have questions before ordering, the contact page lists an email address and a form. Drawback: if you like to finish meals in an air fryer or oven, you will need a second dish.
5. Standard label style
Photo: Macro Stackers
The plain version of the label sheet, same price and size as above. Shipping matters here because labels are a small add-on: the store processes orders in 2 to 3 business days, ships from Dallas, and says most orders arrive within 3 to 7 business days after leaving the facility. Shipping is calculated at checkout. Drawback: we could not see the shipping cost before checkout.
6. Pasta Patterned label style
Photo: Macro Stackers
The same label with a pasta pattern, for people who want the freezer to look a bit less clinical. Before you order anything, read the refund policy: the store does not accept returns because the containers are food-grade packaging, but you can contact support within 7 days of delivery if an item arrives damaged, defective or wrong. Drawback: no change-of-mind returns at all.
What it costs
| Item (checked 2026-10-21) | One-time price | Subscribe & Save |
|---|---|---|
| 30 Pack, 24 oz containers | $39.99 | $33.99 |
| 60 Pack, 24 oz containers | $67.99 | $57.79 |
| Label sheets, 30 labels | $5.00 | not offered |
That works out to about $1.33 per container for a one-time 30 Pack and about $0.96 per container for a 60 Pack on subscription (our own calculation). Shipping is added at checkout.
What buyers say
We found no independent reviews on Trustpilot or Reddit as of 2026-10-21. The main public discussion we found was on the Stealth Health Life Substack, where readers asked whether the containers are reusable (the answer given: single use) and whether they ship to Europe (the store currently ships within the United States only). Everything else about performance comes from the store and its founder, so treat it as the maker's claims until more customer reviews appear.
How it compares
- Sugarcane bagasse take-out containers: usually cheaper per piece and also compostable; buying guides we read on 2026-10-21 note some can soften or warp with repeated reheating. Good for people who want the lowest cost per meal.
- Reusable glass meal prep containers: higher upfront cost, oven and dishwasher safe, no ongoing purchases. Good for people who prefer washing over rebuying.
- Reusable plastic containers: light and cheap, but this is exactly the plastic that Macro Stackers was designed to avoid.
Macro Stackers sits in between: a single-use container without a plastic liner, made for people who freeze many meals at once.
Shipping & returns
The store ships within the United States. Orders are processed in 2 to 3 business days and most arrive within 3 to 7 business days after leaving the facility; tracking is emailed once the order ships. There are no returns. Damaged, defective or wrong items should be reported within 7 days of delivery for a replacement or another resolution.
Who it suits / who should skip
It suits batch cooks who keep a freezer full of portioned, high-protein meals, reheat in a household microwave and like labeling macros. Skip it if you want a reusable or dishwasher-safe container, cook in an oven or air fryer, have no access to commercial composting, or need the option to return an order.
Using the code
Press Get code to reveal the code on this page. In our cart test on 2026-10-21 the code was not applied to any order we tried, including a subscription order. The reliable saving we could confirm is the store's Subscribe & Save option at 15% off.
