How we put this guide together
On October 24, 2026 we went through the LUMINKEY online store: the product pages and US dollar prices of six popular items, which versions were in stock, the store's own review scores, and its shipping, return and "where to buy" pages. We also read independent reviews of the Magger68 from 9to5Toys (July 2025), Gizmochina (November 2024) and KBD.news (2024). We searched for Reddit and Trustpilot feedback about the store and found none. Nobody on our team has used these keyboards yet, so this is a buyer's guide, not a hands-on review, and we do not give a star rating.
What LUMINKEY sells
LUMINKEY designs its own mechanical and magnetic (Hall Effect) keyboards, most of them with CNC-machined aluminum cases, plus accessories such as palm rests and spare plates. Its About page says the team came from years in the custom keyboard scene at Createkeebs. The range covers 65% and 80% layouts, wired and three-mode wireless boards (2.4GHz, Bluetooth and USB-C), and a new wireless numpad. Orders are fulfilled by the brand itself and shipped internationally, so US buyers pay for express shipping and any import tax.
The six products below are the ones we were asked to cover: three keyboards, one numpad and two accessories.
The 6 products
1. Magger68 HE Performance
Photo: LUMINKEY
A 65% gaming keyboard with Hall Effect magnetic switches. The store says you can set the actuation point anywhere from 0.1mm to 3.5mm, and lists per-key RGB lighting, PBT keycaps, an aluminum internal plate and a low 16.5mm front height. It connects with a USB-C cable. Price on October 24, 2026: $89.00. Only the E-Milky White version was in stock; Ano-Black and Ano-Champagne Gold were sold out. Store rating: 4.72 stars from 54 reviews. 9to5Toys listed it at $129.99 in July 2025, so the current price is lower than at launch coverage. It suits a gamer who wants adjustable magnetic switches without paying $200. Drawbacks: one color only right now, Gizmochina noted the included cable is just one meter long, and KBD.news pointed out it skips the hard case and extras that come with the pricier Luminkey80.
2. LUMINKEY80V1 (80% keyboard)
Photo: LUMINKEY
The brand's enthusiast 80% board: hot-swappable switches, ANSI and ISO layout support, a copper back weight, double-shot PBT keycaps and the brand's Sylva switches. You can choose a wired or a three-mode wireless version. Price on October 24, 2026: $256.00 wired and $273.00 wireless with keycaps. The $236 barebones versions and every Ano-Black version were sold out; Moonlight Silver and E-Retro White were available (7 of 18 options). Store rating: 4.9 stars from 20 reviews. It suits someone building a long-term desk keyboard who wants the full premium package. Drawback: it is the most expensive item here, and black is not available at the moment.
3. Luminkey65
Photo: LUMINKEY
A 65% board with a full CNC aluminum case, a polycarbonate plate and gasket mounting, which the store says reduces vibration. It has a copper weight and badge, a 17.3mm front height with a 7-degree typing angle, PBT keycaps and three connection modes (2.4GHz, Bluetooth and USB-C). Price on October 24, 2026: $206.00 in Ano-Black, Ano-Red, Moonlight Silver or E-Creamy White, and $216.00 for the E-Creamy White and Red Fox edition. All five options were in stock. Store rating: 4.87 stars from 23 reviews. It suits someone who wants a compact wireless aluminum board in a color of their choice. Drawback: at over $200 plus shipping it costs more than twice the Magger68, and the stock plate only supports the default layout.
4. LUMINKEY NOVA KINE (wireless numpad)
Photo: LUMINKEY
Despite the "keyboard" in its product name, the NOVA KINE is a standalone numpad. It has an anodized aluminum case, a top-mount structure, a 3000mAh battery, a horizontal scroll wheel for volume or scrolling, side function buttons and three connection modes. It ships with plates for several layouts and blank keycaps, and keys can be remapped with VIA. Price on October 24, 2026: $129.00 in Obsidian Black, Moon Silver or Carbon Gray, all available. The product page is labeled as a pre-order and says it ships within one week. Store rating: 5.0 stars, but from only 3 reviews. It suits someone who works with numbers or wants a desk control pad next to a compact keyboard. Drawback: $129 is a lot for a numpad, and with so few reviews there is little feedback yet.
5. Luminkey Split Palm Rest (CNC aluminium)
Photo: LUMINKEY
A split wrist rest machined from aluminium, 120mm by 80mm per the store, which says it works with keyboards of all sizes and lets you adjust the angle you prefer. Price on October 24, 2026: $55.00. Only 3 of 15 options were in stock: black with a carbon fiber matte panel, black with a dragon scale texture, and silver with a carbon fiber matte panel. White, red and clear versions were sold out. Store rating: 4.96 stars from 26 reviews. It suits someone who types for hours on a tall aluminum board. Drawback: most color and panel combinations are sold out, and a metal rest can feel cold compared with foam or wood.
6. Mounting Plate for Luminkey65
Photo: LUMINKEY
A spare plate for the Luminkey65. The store explains that the default plate only supports the standard layout with plate-mount stabilizers, while these extra plates support multiple layouts and PCB-mount stabilizers. Price on October 24, 2026: $15.00. Only the FR4 composite version was in stock; aluminum and polycarbonate were sold out. Store rating: 5.0 stars from 1 review. It suits a Luminkey65 owner who wants a different layout or a different typing feel. Drawback: PCB-mount stabilizers are not included, so budget for those, and shipping can cost more than the plate.

What buyers say
- The store's own ratings for these six range from 4.72 stars (Magger68, 54 reviews) to 5.0 stars, but the 5.0 scores come from just 3 reviews (NOVA KINE) and 1 review (plate). These reviews are hosted by the store itself (checked October 24, 2026).
- 9to5Toys (July 2025) liked the Magger68 line for typing and its adjustable actuation. Gizmochina (November 2024) praised the aluminum build but flagged the one-meter cable. KBD.news (2024) called the Magger68 a solid Hall Effect board aimed more at gamers than at enthusiasts.
- We found no Trustpilot page or Reddit threads about LUMINKEY's customer service or shipping on October 24, 2026, so there is little independent feedback on after-sales support.
How it compares
- US retailers and Amazon: LUMINKEY's own "where to buy" page lists Amazon US and US keyboard shops such as Divinikey, Mechanical Keyboards, Lethal Gaming Gear and Mechkeys. Buying there may mean faster domestic delivery and that shop's return policy; check whether they carry the exact model and color you want.
- Wooting: a well-known Hall Effect gaming keyboard brand. Worth comparing if fast magnetic switches matter more to you than an aluminum case.
- Keychron: makes many aluminum, wireless custom-style keyboards in 65% and 75% layouts. Worth comparing if you want a large choice of layouts.
Shipping & returns
For the United States: regular items ship within 1 to 3 business days, and express delivery by FedEx or DHL takes about 7 to 10 days. Pre-order items ship 7 business days after the pre-order period ends. Import tax and VAT are not included in the price.
Returns are strict. Unused items in their original packaging can be returned within 7 calendar days of delivery, with proof of condition, but you pay the return shipping (including any taxes) and up to a 5% transaction fee. Items with signs of use are not accepted. If an item arrives defective or damaged and you report it within 7 days, the store offers a full refund including shipping and fees; for customized items that window is 3 days. Promotional items cannot be refunded after shipment, and cancelling an order for personal reasons before it ships costs a 5% fee.
Who it suits / who should skip
LUMINKEY suits buyers who already know which board they want, like the look and weight of an aluminum keyboard, and are fine with international express shipping. Skip it, or buy from a US retailer, if you want to try a keyboard before committing, need easy free returns, or want a color that is currently sold out.
