How we put this guide together

We haven't bought or used anything from KOSHINE, so this isn't a hands-on review and we don't give it a star rating. Everything below comes from KOSHINE's own store (koshinemall.com): its product pages, its shipping, return and contact pages, and the store's public product list. We also read the company's Trustpilot page and Google's Ads Transparency Center, and tested shipping and discount codes in the cart without placing an order. All of it was checked between October 1 and 3, 2026.

A note on KX-826 before you buy

KOSHINE's products are built around KX-826 (pyrilutamide), an ingredient developed by Kintor Pharmaceutical. KX-826 has been tested in clinical trials, but it is not approved by the FDA as a drug, and KOSHINE sells these products as cosmetics. Product pages make strong claims, for example "visible new hair growth in 4-6 weeks". Those are the brand's own claims; we can't confirm them, and independent write-ups we read describe the trial results as mixed.

If you're dealing with hair loss, talk to a dermatologist first, especially if you already use another treatment, are pregnant or breastfeeding, or have a sensitive scalp. The labels say the products are for scalp use only.

What KOSHINE sells

On October 3 the store listed 14 products. The hair products come in a few versions:

ProductKX-826 strengthPrice (60ml, single bottle)
Blue Bottle hair solution0.5%$68.99
Purple Bottle hair solution0.9%$108.99
Hair Revitalizing Foam0.9%$108.99
Gray Bottle "MAX" spray (adds 1.5% Kopyrrol and 1% Kopexil)0.9%$129.99
Green Bottle "plant-based extract" solution (Kintor label)0.5%$58.99

A few things to know when picking:

  • 30ml sizes: the single 30ml Blue Bottle ($34.99) and single 30ml Purple Bottle ($54.99) were out of stock on October 3. Multi-packs of 30ml bottles were available (for example, 3 x 30ml Blue Bottles for $99.99).
  • The foam is described as lightweight and fast-absorbing, made for oily or combination scalps, with a non-greasy finish for morning use.
  • Hair + skin sets pair a hair product with KOSHINE's KT-939 skincare (anti-pigment serum or lotion, or an acne gel): $72.99-$209.98.
  • Skincare on its own: KT-939 Anti-Pigment Lotion $39.99, Serum $59.99, Brightening Duo $79.99, KX-826 Anti-Acne Gel $119.99.

Discounts we tested

We tried discounts in the cart on October 3, 2026, without placing an order:

  • Codes: 10 common codes (including WELCOME10, KOSHINE10, SAVE10 and FIRST10) were all rejected. We didn't find a public code anywhere on the site.
  • Bundles: the savings are built into multi-bottle options on the product page: "Buy 2 bottles save 6%", "Buy 3 or more and enjoy 8% off", and on the Purple Bottle a "2 Bottles – Save 10% (U.S. Exclusive)" option ($196.99 for two 60ml bottles). Adding two single bottles to the cart separately did not trigger a discount, so pick the bundle option itself.
  • Green Bottle: it shows crossed-out prices (for example $58.99, down from $69.99). We couldn't check whether it ever sold at the higher price.

What buyers say

  • Trustpilot: 4.1 out of 5 from 27 reviews (78% five-star, 7% one-star). The company claimed its profile in March 2025 and had replied to about half of its negative reviews. 27 is a small number, so treat the score with care.
  • What reviewers praise: customer support that follows up until a problem is solved, careful packaging, and, for some, less oily scalps and thicker-feeling hair after a few weeks.
  • What they complain about: slow dispatch, and in one review, a buyer who used KX-826 for 14 months and saw no difference. The company replied that individual results vary.

Is KOSHINE legit? What we could and couldn't verify

What checks out:

  • The store is run by Koshine Hong Kong Limited, which says it is a wholly owned subsidiary of Kintor Pharmaceutical. Its Google ads run under a verified advertiser account in that company's name.
  • It lists a North America toll-free number (1-888-2721668), a WhatsApp number and the email support@koshinemall.com.
  • The product list, cart and shipping rates all worked when we tested them, and the links between the store and its affiliate program matched.

What we couldn't verify:

  • How well the products work. That's the big one; see the note above.
  • Where your order ships from. The shipping page says orders go out "primarily through Amazon" within 24 hours on business days and arrive in 2-5 business days, while returns go to a Hong Kong warehouse.
  • The crossed-out prices on the Green Bottle.

Shipping and returns

  • Shipping: our test carts to New York (ZIP 10001) showed $5.99 general shipping (also $7.99 standard and $15.99 expedited) for both a $68.99 and a $137.98 cart, so we didn't see free shipping. The cart estimated 5-15 days for delivery, longer than the 2-5 business days on the shipping page; allow for the longer figure.
  • Returns: strict. You have 7 days from delivery, and opened or used cosmetic products can't be returned unless there's a quality problem. Unopened items need approval from customer service first, and for a change of mind you pay return shipping and the original shipping fee isn't refunded. Returns go to a Hong Kong warehouse.
  • Payment: cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, UnionPay) through Shopify checkout.

Who it suits

KOSHINE suits shoppers who already know about KX-826, want to buy it from the brand behind it rather than from a reseller, and are comfortable with a cosmetic that isn't FDA-approved as a drug. Start with a single 60ml bottle: you can't return it once it's opened. It's a weaker fit if you want a proven, approved hair loss treatment, need an easy return, or are hoping for free shipping.
