How we put this guide together
On October 14, 2026 we read JLM Marine's website (jlmmarine.com): the homepage, the product pages for the six items below, the Johnson/Evinrude parts collection, and the refund, shipping and terms pages. We checked prices and stock for US shoppers in US dollars, added items to a cart to see the shipping cost to a Florida address, and tested a discount code before emptying the cart. We also looked for independent reviews. Nobody on our team has installed a JLM Marine part, so this is a buyer's guide, not a hands-on review, and it has no star rating from us.
What JLM Marine sells
JLM Marine sells aftermarket replacement parts for outboard and inboard boat engines: fuel pumps, carburetor rebuild kits, water pump impellers, thermostats, gaskets, seals, switches and sensors, plus accessories such as propeller guards, outboard covers, skeg guards and hydrofoil stabilizers. The homepage lists parts for Yamaha, Mercury, Johnson, Evinrude, Suzuki, Honda, Volvo Penta and Yanmar engines and claims more than 7,000 parts. The parts are made by JLM, not by the engine makers; the product pages say so plainly (aftermarket, not OEM). The company describes itself as a manufacturer with more than 20 years of experience supplying marine brands; we could not verify that, and its website domain was registered in 2023.
The most useful thing about the store is how it helps you match a part. Each product page has a cross-reference table of the original (OEM) part numbers and other aftermarket numbers it replaces, plus a table of compatible engines by horsepower, stroke and year. There is also a Parts Finder where you enter make, HP, stroke, model, year or serial number.
The 6 products
1. Carburetor Kit 3-Pack for Mercury/Mariner WME carburetors
Photo: JLM Marine
A rebuild kit for Mercury/Mariner outboards with WME series carburetors (WME-1 through WME-81, per the fit table). The package contains three kits, which suits engines with several carburetors. It replaces Mercury part 1395-8236354 and several related numbers, and cross-references Sierra 18-7750-1. Price on October 14, 2026: $46 (listed against $55), in stock, with a 1-year warranty against manufacturing defects. Suits: owners with some mechanical experience rebuilding their own carbs. Drawback: the kit covers many WME versions, so you will have leftover gaskets and parts, and the store recommends professional installation.
2. Fuel Pump for Johnson/Evinrude 6-15 HP outboards
Photo: JLM Marine
A mechanical, engine-driven pump for 2-stroke Johnson and Evinrude engines from 6 to 15 HP, mainly 1981 to 1992 models, plus some older engines with a 2-port pump. It replaces OMC numbers 397274, 397839, 391638 and 395091 and cross-references Sierra 18-7350 and Mallory 9-35350. The box includes the pump and its mounting gasket. Price on October 14, 2026: $16, in stock, the cheapest of the six. Suits: small-engine owners with a weak or leaking pump. Drawback: check your engine's year in the fit table first, because coverage of older models is partial.
3. Fuel Pump for Johnson/Evinrude 20-140 HP outboards (replaces 438556)
Photo: JLM Marine
A flange-mount pump for a wide range of 2-stroke Johnson/Evinrude engines from 20 to 140 HP, roughly 1968 to 1997. It replaces 438556 and a long list of older OMC numbers, and cross-references Sierra 18-7352, Mallory 9-35352 and EMP 1399-07352. Pump and mounting gasket included. Price on October 14, 2026: $21.99, in stock. Suits: owners of mid-size older OMC engines. Drawback: because it covers so many engines, confirming your exact model in the table matters more than usual.
4. Fuel Pump for Mercury/Mariner 30-300 HP 2-stroke outboards
Photo: JLM Marine
A pump assembly for Mercury/Mariner 2-stroke outboards from 30 to 300 HP, covering models from the 1990s to the early 2000s, including some DFI and DTS versions. It replaces 14360A16, 14360A41, 14360A43, 14360A78 and other numbers. The kit has the pump, a gasket and a cable tie. Price on October 14, 2026: $23.59 (listed against $28), in stock. Suits: Mercury 2-stroke owners who want a lower-cost replacement. Drawback: it is an aftermarket part, so it does not carry Mercury's own warranty.
5. 3-Port Fuel Pump for Johnson/Evinrude 25-140 HP outboards (replaces 438559)
Photo: JLM Marine
A pulse-driven pump with three ports (inlet, outlet and pulse) for Johnson/Evinrude engines built between 1968 and 2001. It replaces 438559 and more than a dozen older numbers, including 5005462. Price on October 14, 2026: $28.99 (listed against $34), in stock. Suits: owners of 25 to 140 HP OMC engines that use the 3-port style. Drawback: the page title says 25-140 HP while the text mentions a wider 6-235 HP range, so rely on the fit table, not the title.
6. Johnson/Evinrude outboard parts collection
Photo: JLM Marine
The store's catalog for Johnson and Evinrude engines, which are no longer made, so replacement parts get harder to find each year. On October 14, 2026 it listed 117 products from $11.99 to $533, with 116 in stock: water pump impeller kits (for example a 75-250 HP kit at $50.99), carburetor kits, primer solenoid kits, fuel pumps and more. Suits: owners keeping an older OMC engine running. Drawback: prices on duplicate listings for the same part number can differ, so compare before you buy.

What buyers say
- JLM Marine's own pages: the store points to its fit tables, the 1-year defect warranty and factory pricing. These are the brand's claims.
- eBay (October 2026): storefronts selling JLM Marine parts show 99% to 100% positive seller feedback; buyers mostly say the item matched the description and shipped fast, and one said decals did not last as long as expected. That feedback is for eBay orders, not orders on jlmmarine.com.
- A retail listing of a JLM carburetor kit for Johnson/Evinrude: one buyer reported that the brass needle seat had metric threads and did not fit their carburetor, a reminder to check parts against your original before installing.
- Trustpilot: we found no page for jlmmarine.com on October 14, 2026.
How it compares
- Dealer OEM parts: made by the engine maker and backed by its warranty, usually at a higher price and sometimes no longer available for older engines.
- Established aftermarket brands such as Sierra or Mallory: widely stocked at marine stores; JLM's pages list their part numbers, so you can compare like for like.
- JLM Marine: low prices and detailed fit tables, but a newer store with few independent reviews and a strict return policy.
Shipping & returns
Our test cart of a $16 fuel pump showed free standard shipping to Florida with a 3-5 day estimate. The shipping policy says orders from the US warehouse arrive within about 7 days and orders shipped from the China warehouse in about 12 days, so delivery time depends on where your part ships from. Returns are accepted within 7 days of delivery for unused items in original packaging, with an RMA number from info@jlm-marine.com. Change-of-mind returns lose a 20% restocking fee and you pay return shipping; defective, damaged or wrong items are replaced or fully refunded with no fee.
Who it suits / who should skip
JLM Marine suits do-it-yourself boat owners with older outboards who know their engine model or the old part number and want an inexpensive replacement fuel pump, carb kit or impeller. Skip it if you want genuine OEM parts, need a part installed by a dealer under the engine maker's warranty, or are not sure of your engine model, because the 7-day window and 20% restocking fee make a wrong order costly.
