How we tested
Our nail salon has used Gotti Nails gel polish and dip powder on paying clients for a while now, alongside occasional pickups from other pro brands. This review reflects that ongoing, real-world use, not a one-time trial. We first wrote it on September 16, 2026 and re-checked Gotti Nails' prices, policies and both discount codes on September 30, 2026, shopping as a US customer without placing an order.
What we use
Gotti Nails was founded by Robert Nguyen, whom the store describes as a 20-plus-year nail veteran, former OPI international educator and competition judge (Gotti Nails' own site, checked Sep 30, 2026). The line covers gel polish, no-wipe top coats, a matched lacquer collection, a dip/acrylic "fusion" powder system, cat eye and glow gels, and, newer, press-on nails. When we checked, 119 single gel colours were in stock at $15 each. It's sold direct and also through Amazon and Target, not a brand that only exists on its own site.
How it's held up in the chair
In the chair, the finish is the selling point: gel color goes on smooth in two coats, cures glass-shiny, and clients keep coming back specifically asking for it by name. We haven't had a client come back with premature chipping or lifting that we'd blame on the product itself.
Our own salon's work — a blue floral gel design on a client, not a manufacturer photo.
What other buyers say
We're not the only ones vouching for it. On Amazon, Gotti Nails' No Wipe Gel Top Coat held 4.4 out of 5 stars across 1,066 reviews, with "600+ bought in past month" when we checked on September 16, 2026, a large enough sample to trust. There is still no Trustpilot page for gottinails.com (checked Sep 30, 2026). The store's own "4.9/5 · 10,000+ pros" and "1,000+ reviews" badges are its own figures; we can't verify them, so we lean on the Amazon number instead.
How it compares
| Gotti Nails | OPI GelColor | DND (Daisy) | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Price per bottle | $15 | ~$18–25 | ~$8–12 |
| Positioning | Pro-grade, educator-founded | Prestige salon standard | Budget pro-grade |
| Where sold | Direct, Amazon, Target | Salons, beauty suppliers | Nail supply stores |
Gotti Nails sits between the two: not the cheapest, but less expensive than the prestige OPI shelf it competes with. (OPI and DND prices are typical ranges we found in September 2026, not quotes from a single store.)
Shipping and returns
Shipping is free on orders over $50 (site banner, Sep 30, 2026). Orders are processed in 1–3 business days, and standard US delivery takes 3–7 business days after shipment. If something arrives damaged or missing, you have to report it within 48 hours of delivery, with photos.
The footer says "30-Day Returns," but the refund policy has an important exception: it excludes "personal care goods (such as beauty products)," and sale items can't be returned either. In practice, an opened bottle of polish generally isn't returnable. Budget for a colour you might not love rather than counting on sending it back.
Who it suits
Good for salons and serious at-home gel users who want a professional finish and don't mind paying above bargain-brand prices. Skip it if you want the rock-bottom price of DND, or need a guaranteed return if a colour doesn't work out for you.
Using the codes
There are two tickets below.
- 40% off store-wide, until October 7, 2026. We tested it on September 30, 2026 with a top coat, a 5-colour polish bundle and a 16-piece dip powder set in the cart: 40% came off every item, taking $310.85 down to $186.51 before shipping. Gotti Nails says the code ends on October 7. This is the better deal while it lasts.
- Our exclusive 10% code. It has no end date shown. On the same cart it took off exactly 10% ($310.85 to $279.77); on September 16 it also worked on a single bottle with no minimum order.
We tested the two codes one at a time, not together, so we can't say whether they stack. Enter the code from the ticket at checkout.
