How we put this guide together

On October 16, 2026 we read DYU's US store (us.dyucycle.com): the homepage, six product pages, the shipping policy, the refund policy and the terms of service. We checked US prices and stock in US dollars and read the brand's Trustpilot page. Nobody on our team has ridden these bikes, so this is a buyer's guide, not a hands-on review, and it carries no star rating from us.

What DYU sells

DYU is an electric bike brand that says it was established in 2016. Its Trustpilot profile describes DYU as a brand of Netherlands Dayu Intelligent Mobility Technology and lists a US address in Dover, Delaware; the US affiliate program is run by HONGKONG DYU TECHNOLOGY LIMITED. The US store sells small 14-inch folding e-bikes, 20-inch fat tire bikes, 26-inch commuter bikes, the CampX electric wagon, and accessories and replacement parts. Every product below was in stock for US shoppers on October 16, 2026.

One thing to know before you compare: several DYU product pages list different numbers for the same spec in different places (for example top speed or range). Where that happens, we say so and quote both.

The 6 products

1. DYU M20 All-Terrain Long-Range Electric Bike

The M20 is DYU's biggest bike: a moped-style frame on 20 x 4.0 inch fat tires, a 750W rated motor (1500W peak), a 48V 18.2Ah (873.6Wh) battery, a Shimano 7-speed derailleur, suspension and mechanical disc brakes. DYU quotes up to 100 miles in pedal assist mode and 70 miles on throttle; its own FAQ says to expect 40 to 60 miles on throttle over hilly ground. It weighs 88 lbs, carries up to 264 lbs, is rated IP54 and does not fold. US price on October 16, 2026: $999 (listed down from $1,399), in Brown. Suits: riders who want one bike for trails, sand, snow and commuting, and who have a garage. Drawback: at 88 lbs it is heavy to lift, the page lists the climbing ability as both 35 degrees and 15 degrees, and its 28 mph throttle top speed is above the 20 mph throttle limit many US states set for e-bikes, so check your local rules before riding on bike paths.

2. DYU CampX Foldable Electric Wagon

DYU CampX foldable electric wagonPhoto: DYU

Not a bike: the CampX is a motorized folding wagon for hauling camping gear. DYU lists a 1200W rear dual drive, a maximum load of 772 lbs (350 kg), a top speed of 7.5 mph, a detachable 36V 8Ah LiFePO4 battery that charges in about 3 hours, a 183-liter cargo bed, Ackermann steering and a triple brake system with regenerative braking. It folds to about 18.9 x 11.4 x 29.5 inches. US price on October 16, 2026: $1,099 (listed down from $1,299). On the store it has 54 reviews, 44 of them five stars. Suits: campers, beach-goers and families who move heavy coolers and tents over grass or gravel. Drawback: DYU says it is for off-road use only (campsites, parks, private grounds), not public roads, and it is the most expensive product in this list.

3. DYU D3F MINI 14 Inch Folding Ebike

DYU D3F Mini 14 inch folding e-bikePhoto: DYU

DYU's best-known model, with 452 reviews on the store. It has 14-inch wheels, a 36V 7.8Ah battery, front and rear disc brakes, a cruise mode, IP54 water resistance and a three-step fold to about 46 x 8 x 28 inches, small enough for a car trunk. It weighs 42 lbs and carries up to 265 lbs. DYU quotes up to 25 miles in pedal assist mode and 15.5 miles on throttle. US price on October 16, 2026: $299 (listed down from $699). Suits: short city trips, students and anyone who needs to carry a bike up stairs or onto a train. Drawback: the page lists the motor as 350W in one place and as a 250W motor with 500W peak in another, and the top speed as both 20 mph and 16 mph; small wheels also feel every pothole.

4. DYU C3 Mini 14 Inch Folding Ebike

DYU C3 Mini 14 inch folding e-bikePhoto: DYU

The cheapest bike in this guide. The C3 has a low-step frame, 14 x 2.125 inch tires, a 36V 7.8Ah battery, front and rear disc brakes, front and rear lights and a rear rack rated to 25 kg. DYU quotes 20 to 25 miles in pedal assist mode and 13 to 15 miles on throttle, a 20 mph top speed and a 3 to 4 hour charge. It weighs 46 lbs, carries up to 265 lbs and folds to about 50 x 9 x 24 inches. The warranty is two years on the frame and one year on the battery and motor. US price on October 16, 2026: $259 (listed down from $469). On the store it has 61 reviews, 48 of them five stars. Suits: budget buyers who want a small folding e-bike with a rack. Drawback: DYU's own FAQ says the battery was made smaller to cut the price, the motor is listed as both 500W and 350W, and one store reviewer said the power was weaker than expected and support was slow.

5. DYU UX BMX 20 Inch Fat Tire Electric Bike

DYU UX BMX 20 inch fat tire electric bikePhoto: DYU

A BMX-style e-bike on 20 x 3.0 inch fat tires with a removable 48V 13Ah battery, front and rear disc brakes and four ways to ride, including full throttle, pedal assist and a walk-assist mode. DYU lists a 19.8 to 20 mph top speed, a 265 lb load limit, a recommended rider height of 5'5" to 6'2" and UL 2849 certification, the US safety standard for e-bike electrical systems. It weighs about 57 lbs and does not fold. US price on October 16, 2026: $899 (listed down from $1,099). Suits: teens and adults who want a nimble street and trail bike with a swappable battery. Drawback: the page lists range as both 31 km and 100 km and the motor as 250W, 500W and 750W peak in different places, and it has only one store review so far.

6. DYU C4 MINI 14'' Foldable Electric Bike

DYU C4 Mini 14 inch foldable e-bikePhoto: DYU

A newer folding model with a 250W motor (500W peak), a 36V 7.8Ah battery, 14-inch wheels, front and rear disc brakes, an LED display, height-adjustable seat and handlebars, and a rear rack rated to 25 kg. DYU says it folds in two steps in about five seconds. It quotes up to 26 miles of range, a 19.8 mph top speed, a 265 lb load limit and a weight of about 46 lbs. US price on October 16, 2026: $299 (listed down from $399). Suits: city riders who want the cargo rack and quick fold of a small bike. Drawback: it costs the same as the better-reviewed D3F Mini and has only one store review.

Shipping is free on orders over $100. You can pay in installments with Shop Pay; cash on delivery is not offered. On October 16, 2026 the site also showed a first-order discount pop-up and an extra autumn discount on the M20 page; we did not test either at checkout.

What buyers say

  • Trustpilot (checked October 16, 2026): 3.7 out of 5 from 211 reviews, 106 of them in the past 12 months: 60% five stars, 7% four stars, 4% three stars, 3% two stars and 26% one star. Happy customers mention fast delivery, easy assembly and a comfortable ride. One-star reviews complain about slow customer service, delivery delays, a wrong part being shipped, and one rider said their bike cut out twice while riding. DYU replied to every negative review, but Trustpilot notes it typically takes over a month to reply.
  • The store's own reviews: D3F Mini 452 reviews, C3 Mini 61, CampX 54, M20 43, UX BMX 1 and C4 Mini 1. These are shown by the store itself.
  • Video reviews: the M20 and C3 product pages link to several YouTube reviews by independent creators; we did not watch them for this guide.

How it compares

  • Other budget e-bike brands (such as Fiido or Engwe): similar prices and similar mixed Trustpilot scores. Compare range, weight and the warranty on the exact model.
  • Bikes from local bike shops: cost more, but you get in-person setup, repairs and test rides. Best if you want long-term service.
  • DYU: suits riders who want a low price, a small folding frame or a fat tire bike, and who are comfortable assembling and maintaining it themselves.

Shipping & returns

Shipping (checked October 16, 2026): free on orders over $100, with an estimated 3 to 5 business days. DYU says it ships within 2 working days, from the United States or Hong Kong. It does not deliver to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Rhode Island, Guam, the U.S. Virgin Islands, other US territories or military addresses.

Returns: the store's wording does not fully agree. Product page FAQs say returns and exchanges are supported for 14 days, the product pages show a "30-day Risk-Free Trial" badge, and the refund policy describes a 30-day return window. Under the refund policy you must contact customer service first, you pay the return shipping, change-of-mind returns must be unused with under 10 km on the display, cancelling before shipment costs a 5% fee and cancelling after shipment costs a shipping fee per bike. Product pages show a 12 to 24 month warranty. Ask service@dyucycle.com to confirm the terms for your order before you buy.

Who it suits / who should skip

DYU suits budget-minded riders who want a light folding e-bike for short city trips, a fat tire bike for trails at under $1,000, or an electric wagon for camping, and who can handle basic assembly. Skip it if you live in Alaska, Hawaii or Rhode Island, need fast and reliable customer support, want simple free returns, or need consistent, clearly stated specs before you buy.
