How we put this guide together
We haven't bought a Different Touch product or gone through with an order, so this isn't a hands-on review. Everything below comes from Different Touch's own site — its compression socks collection, individual product pages, About Us page, and Return/Refund Policy — as we read them on September 16, 2026, plus a Trustpilot and Better Business Bureau search for the brand name. We added a pair of socks to a real cart and opened the real checkout page to find the discount code field, but stopped short of entering the code or placing an order, so we can't yet confirm how SOCKS50 applies. We'll update this once that's been tested.
What Different Touch sells
Different Touch is a US-based, direct-to-consumer clothing brand founded by Shahin and Sumona, built around inclusive sizing "from Small to Big & Tall." Its catalog centers on socks — 167 compression sock styles alone at the time we checked, plus ankle, crew, knee-high, trouser and slipper socks for men and women — alongside tank tops, men's boxer briefs and boxer shorts, pajama pants, and hats (top hats, fedoras, cowboy hats). Many of its compression socks carry the Different Touch name, but a large share of the collection is made up of products from Dr. Motion and Dr. Shams, sold directly on Different Touch's own site rather than through a third-party marketplace.
What it costs
Compression socks range from about $6.99 for a single Dr. Motion pair (already marked down from a $10 regular price) to $29.99–$49.99 for six-pair packs under the Different Touch or Dr. Shams name (checked Sep 16, 2026). A six-pair pack of Different Touch's own "Copper Extreme Supports" knee-high compression socks lists at $39.99 regular, $19.99 sale. Nearly every item in the compression socks collection already carries a marked-down sale price before any code is applied, and a homepage banner advertises free shipping on orders over $50.
What buyers say
We couldn't find a Trustpilot or Better Business Bureau profile for differenttouch.com (checked Sep 16, 2026) — a Trustpilot listing under a similar name, "Different Touch" at different-touch.com, turned out to be an unrelated UK construction company. The only reviews we found live on Different Touch's own product pages, through a self-hosted review widget, and the sample sizes are small: its Copper Extreme socks carry 3 reviews, its six-pair "Women's Graduated" socks carry 7, and most items across the site show somewhere between 1 and 8. That's too small a sample, and too dependent on the seller's own platform, for us to treat as an independent measure of quality — so unlike brands with a Trustpilot or Amazon track record, we can't tell you how Different Touch performs at scale.
How it compares
| Different Touch (compression socks) | Dr. Motion (sold directly by Different Touch) | Sockwell / Copper Fit | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Category | Compression & everyday socks, plus tank tops, underwear, pajamas, hats | Compression socks only | Compression socks only |
| Price position | Budget (single pairs) to mid-range (multi-packs) | Budget | Mid-range |
| Spec detail on product page | Own-branded socks like Copper Extreme don't list a compression level (mmHg) or material | Dr. Motion listings on the same site do state "8–15 mmHg" | Established brands that consistently publish compression ratings and materials |
| Independent reviews | None found (no Trustpilot, no BBB) | Sold here as a resold line, not reviewed separately | Longer, more established retail and review track record |
We're not aware of a direct head-to-head comparison of these brands — this table is our own read of what each brand publishes on its own pages plus general market positioning, not a lab test, so treat it as a starting point rather than a verdict.
Shipping and returns
Different Touch's dedicated Shipping Policy page has no content on it (checked Sep 16, 2026) — the only shipping detail we could find is a homepage banner promising free shipping over $50. Returns run 30 days from the purchase date under the Return/Refund Policy: items must be postmarked within that window, unused, with original tags attached, and you cover the return shipping cost yourself. Refunds are processed after Different Touch inspects the returned item, with no stated turnaround beyond "1–2 billing cycles" for the refund to show on your card. Contact for returns is differenttouch2023@gmail.com or +1 267-684-6347.
Who it suits
Worth a look if you want a wide range of compression sock styles and colors at low prices, don't need a specific medical-grade compression rating printed on the box, and are comfortable buying from a brand with no independent track record (no Trustpilot or BBB profile) to check against. Skip it if exact compression strength or fabric content needs to be confirmed before you buy — Different Touch's own branded socks don't list either — or if you want the reassurance of free return shipping, since you'll cover that cost either way.
Using the code
Different Touch gave AvaCoup a private code, SOCKS50, for 50% off its compression socks collection, valid through September 30, 2026, with no minimum purchase stated. We added a pair to a real cart and reached the real checkout page, where the discount code field is visible without needing to enter an email or address first — but we stopped short of entering the code or completing an order, so we haven't confirmed how the 50% applies on top of the site's existing sale prices. Enter it at checkout and confirm the total before you pay — codes can change or end at any time.
